Western Weeping Olive features a willow-like form with a pronounced weeping habit and cascading branches to 6 feet long on mature specimens. The leaves are dark green above with an olive green underside and are larger than typical olive leaves. A fruitless selection, it is an exceptional choice for patios, walkways, and urban planters where fruiting varieties might present problems.
A classic tree for California gardens, Western Weeping Olive is drought and heat tolerant and can be sited in most soil types. Little fertilization is required and trees will take temperatures as low as 15F.
