Woolly sunflower. Shrub to 5’ with a spreading habit and lacy, silver foliage much like dusty miller. Yellow flowers in early summer are star-shaped and held in a tight inflorescence. Plant in full sun or light shade in dry, well-drained soils with occasional water. Hardy to 25F. Channel Islands.
