An old favorite for good reason, ‘Pennington Gem’ produces wave after wave of bubble-gum pink flowers summer through fall. The indivdual blossoms are thinner, more like ‘Firebird’ than something like ‘Thorn’, and have white throats streaked with dark magenta veins. Plants grow to 3 or 4’ tall and are slightly taller than wide. Hardy to 15F.
