A recent Native Sons selection from a seedling flat of Seslaria autumnalis, it features distinctive blue foliage to 12 inches tall with a spreading habit. ‘Campo Azul’ can provide a blue accent in a meadow or could be used in small drifts as a lawn substitute. We are still experimenting with this new selection, but feel it’s blue color would be useful in many California landscape applications. Hardy to 5F. Southern Europe and the Caucasus.
